Week 1 — RIGHT ON TIME
Well, we are showing, right off the bat, that we are fallible human beings; because, though our title for today was to be “Right On Time,” we are not.
The launch of our annual fall campaign was to be yesterday, but we did not anticipate a devastating family concern that diverted our eyes from it.
So now that we have our “eyes wide open,” our beginning will be tomorrow.
But for today, we focus on the lyrics of our first song: “Right On Time.”

Words and Music by John Fischer
Well the light in the world may be dim
But the light of Christ has always been
He will shine
Right on time
And just when you think your hope is gone
And you’re feeling like you can’t go on
He will shine
Right on time
Well you can read your morning paper
Catch the latest depressing news
While commentators on the radio
Give their own confusing views
Well the light in the world may be dim
But the light of Christ has always been
He will shine
Right on time
And just when you think your hope is gone
And you’re feeling like you can’t go on
He will shine
Right on time
You can try to guess when He’s coming
Check the latest prophetic whim
Or simply follow that light each day
That will lead you home to Him
Well the light in the world may be dim
But the light of Christ has always been
He will shine
Right on time
And just when you think your hope is gone
And you’re feeling like you can’t go on
He will shine
Right on time
He will shine
Right on time
_______________
The world is unstable—countries are divided, societies are shaken, and relationships are strained. Fear and uncertainty dominate headlines, but God’s prophetic word reminds us: He is right on time.
This campaign is our call to be awake, alert, and responsive. Just as the prophets in Scripture were watchmen—assuring God’s people of His timing and guiding them toward faithful action—we are called to help today’s generations discern what God is doing right now and how His people should respond.
KEEP YOUR EYES WIDE OPEN is not a slogan—it’s an invitation to see through God’s eyes, walk in His timing, and live faithfully in a confusing world.
