“When the world gets better, we’ll have a pool party, and everyone’s invited.” – Jocelyn Anne Fischer
“Okay, everybody in the pool!”
That’s where we ended yesterday’s Catch. It’s Jocelyn’s party and everyone’s invited. She made no stipulation of color, gender, nationality, race, religion, or political faction — everyone’s invited. President Trump and Joe Biden and their corresponding entourages are invited, and if they won’t jump in the water, we’ll throw them in. We are aware of all sorts of differences between people these days, but Jocelyn doesn’t notice any of that. It’s just not important to her.
We need to start thinking more like Jocelyn. Even if the world doesn’t get any better. In fact, more thinking like Jocelyn might help it get better.
Think about the people you are tempted to dislike right now. Then ask yourself, what would Jocelyn think of them? It’s sort of a new form of “WWJD.” What Would Jocelyn Do? Come on, get in on the game.
In God’s eyes we are all equal. We are all in His image. Besides, God does not look on the outward appearance, anyway; He looks at the heart. And since we cannot look into the heart of anyone like God can, we had best refrain from judgment and treat everyone the same.
So it’s pretty obvious what we’ve got to do: use whatever it takes to get everyone in the pool!
I’m in. Go Jocelyn!
Alright David!
As I posted Today’s Catch on Facebook:

Alright Mark!
