Why don’t you look into Jesus?
He got the answer.
Jesus is the answer for the world today.
Above Him there’s no other; Jesus is the way.
It seems so simplistic. Jesus is the answer. It’s sweeping. It’s all-encompassing. In an election year, it sounds a little like a campaign slogan — too good to be true. Promises, promises …
It’s more like a bumper sticker. Or a rally button. Or a campaign promise that’s too brief to be believable. Too easy to dismiss.
Except that it’s true.
Jesus is the answer. There’s no hyperbole here. No exaggeration. No “evangelistically speaking.”
Besides, He’s not running for anything. He’s already King of Kings and Lord of Lords. There’s nothing and no one higher. We don’t elect Him; we believe Him, or we don’t. We don’t vote for Him; we obey Him, or we don’t. And it’s a one-party system called the body of Christ.
Jesus is ultimately the answer to every question and every problem. And at the end of time, when every knee is bowed and every tongue is confessing that He is Lord, and God has placed all things under His feet and appointed Him to be head over everything (Ephesians 1:22), then all will see how indeed it is true: Jesus is the answer.
And there won’t be any more questions.
Jesus is the answer. Amen!
Thank you, John. These are troubling times but Jesus is still the answer no matter how tough things get!
Jesus IS The Answer. And He has chosen us to be the expression of that Answer.
