God’s purpose in all this was to use the church to display his wisdom in its rich variety to all the unseen rulers and authorities in the heavenly places. This was his eternal plan, which he carried out through Christ Jesus our Lord. Ephesians 3:10-11

Yesterday we found out God’s ultimate plan is to bring everything together under the authority of Jesus Christ. Today we find out that another part of His plan is to show off the rich variety of His wisdom as expressed in the church, to “unseen rulers and authorities in heavenly places.” Now who are those guys? Do we even know? No we don’t, but right now that’s none of our business. That’s God’s business, and we only need to know that it’s going on and pay attention to our walk with the Lord, because we are not alone. Someone outside of our earthly realm is looking on. And what God is doing through you and me is being noted. I bet you didn’t know you were that important.

All of this is happening through the church, the body of Christ, and that is you and me. Our lives are much more significant than we realize. It’s not that it’s up to us to be significant, but that God has made us significant through what Christ has done for us and is continuing to do in our lives. We are being showcased.

So all those little mundane, day-to-day things in your life that seem so insignificant, they’re not. What you and I do with every moment of every day counts. And the fact that we are all so different and diverse is all part of the statement God is making. God is showing the “rich variety” of His wisdom through us — the church. He’s showing us off! We are an important part of God’s eternal plan. God is proud of us, or more accurately, He is proud of what He is doing in and through us. He is showcasing His kids to the universe.

Those passages really tell the story even during times some of us feel we are not important or have a purpose with depression spiraling out of control. Great and true passages to remind us of God’s purpose through his Son.

I don’t want to leave another reply I just want to put the correct email address as I made a mistake capitalizing the first letter. I have a learning disability ADHD and concentration at times is hard.
