Revolution 1×1

OIP-2

Today, in our quest for the right kind of revolution, we turn to our good friend Noel Paul Stookey. Noel has begun his own movement captured in the song, “Revolution 1×1.”

We’re a raggle-taggle army, with no uniform or guns.

But we’ve been called by coincidence so maybe we’re the ones

To take this Revolution to the street.

Smile at every solitary person that we meet.

Wave at total strangers, no matter where they’re from.

We’re gonna start a Revolution.

We’re gonna win it One by One!

“It may seem naive to assume that global peace and understanding could flow from something as commonplace as a friendly greeting to a stranger, but we believe that the chain of events in our lives that binds us one-to-another is a sacred mystery. We believe that making the world a better place for all peoples calls for an investment of personal kindness.” — Noel Stookey

To participate in Noel’s revolutionary movement go to www.revolution1x1.org, check out the video, sign up for a virtual button (look for Marti on the video!), check out his project “Just Causes” and share a little kindness with everyone you meet.

And one more thing. Click on Noel’s picture below to enjoy a private performance of “LOVE in the UPPERCASE.”

  1. Mark D Seguin says:

Loved Today’s Catch for a few reason’s – one being doesn’t say anything about a pending Civil War simply b/c people are expressing different opinions!

  2. Sandie says:

What could this world be like if even just believers got into the habit of being kind? Of being respectful? Of thinking BEFORE opening our mouth? I have SOooo much work to do.
Listen to Thomas Rhett’s song, Be A Light. Good words to live by.

  3. Toni Petrella says:

So true about Love and Kindness in the song on the video. We always need more of that now, and forever.
