It never was.
It’s not about expanding the Catch Ministry.
It’s not about reaching a fundraising goal.
It’s not about John writing the Catch every day.
It’s not about Marti counseling.
It’s not about the prayer warriors taking on requests.
It’s not about Cynthia leading the prayer warriors.
It’s not about John S. discipling disciplers.
It’s not about Wayne studying and teaching.
It’s not about Terri directing the MemberPartner program.
It’s not about Paul, Dave, and Pat charting a course for the Catch Ministry.
It’s not about the many supporting volunteers who serve the vision.
No…
It’s about the person who needs prayer tonight.
It’s about the person who needs to know they belong.
It’s about the person who feels rejected by Christians.
It’s about those who feel judged.
It’s about the person who has yet to discover that God’s grace is turned outward — toward them.
It’s about the person who realizes there is a seat at the table for them after all
It’s about the person who has never heard that the Gospel is good news for them, too.
And it is about ordinary people like you and me, who have been entrusted with extraordinary news.
Ben understood something important. News doesn’t deliver itself.
Somebody has to carry it.
Noel Paul Stookey has agreed to chair our ‘Gotta Annual Fall Campaign because he believes this news matters. And he’s invitin to join him.
Whether you carry the news yourself, or support someone who does, there is a place for you on this route.
Because there are still many who haven’t heard.
And many who have heard it wrong.
These are the people whom it’s all about.
This is why we’ve gotta get the news out.
